Well it's possible that the Sony does CA correction as part of the pipe but very surprising if it does it for non native glass. The Sony I know would do anything to cripple everything but perhaps they've changed. Demosaic algos have different effect on purple fringing so that could be a reason for different results. Anyway it's just a throwaway comment from the "Demon King", but as I said I've wondered the same just because Pentax seems more prone to pf than most.

Note however that the review suggests all chromatic aberration is very, very well handled.
