HD FA 21mm/2.4 limited finally arrived: wide open aperture photos

It took a whole month to take delivery, and a couple more days for the rain to relent. Late evening low light was a good excuse - and a tough lens test - to go for a quick series at f/2.4 in the nearby park. At this first glance, colors rendition, sharpness and bokeh all exceed my expectations.

Bokeh fringing

Hello,

How does it behave in terms of Bokeh fringing? Meaning the circumstance, that the unsharp zones have magenta or green toning? Especially @ open aperture. My Sony Zeiss SAL24f2.0 was horrible in that regard.

A 2nd question: what do you think: what is more fun in real life: the 21 DFA prime + K1 ii or the 11-18 DA Star with a k70?
Especially on weekends hikes?

Thanks

Bokeh fringing ? is this photo what you mean, I had a sort of glow from the fence behind, no colour fringing that I can see more of a white glow

Well, those shots look fantastic. Enjoy the early Christmas present!

Somehow the photos don't feel like they came from an ultrawide lens. That's incredible...
