I am soooooo tempted. I was wondering what I was going to do with that spare $10000 I'd kept for a rainy day. Now I know.

I have a rare Holga 60mm f8.0 lens if anyone wants it..25,000.00 euros. Cheap!
It must be that special effects lens that renders medium format photos as though they were taken with a damaged discount store disposable camera.

although I would not mind the 200 F2.5, and some of the wide angle lenses I already have 5 of these lenses, and think the package price of 10K US is a little high.

also some of the lenses he lists don't exist. I have a K 105 F2.8 and it it THE ONLY 105mm K mount lens ever.

People need to ask a few questions.
the 500 f4.5 and the 20 f2.8 and 35 2 are interesting also.

There isn't even one autofocus lens? Don't think it'd cure my LBA even I had the money to buy them all. Still need autofocus lenses for my digital cameras

Yeah right. I put my K10d to the setting of "manual pixel processing". I did this after switching off autofocus and choosing for the M-setting.

It is great to be independent from all those choices a camera makes for you!

That was my take on it. The number of truly desirable items is relatively small. I think that $1000 would be a more realistic starting bid.

That is strange...how can he be selling the same lenses in two different auctions? How do you spell F-R-A-U-D?

To me it seems like he is just using that one auction listing with a $10k starting price as an advertisement, instead of paying the big bucks on every auction to get them listed at the top of every search. I'm pretty sure that he doesn't intend for anyone to pay $10k for all the lenses, but as many of you have stated his starting prices are just a tad high. Regardless, I'm sure that this tactic is against eBay policy and I'm sure the eBay authorities would be glad to do something about it if it were reported.

Clever way to advertise for cheaper I suppose. But still sketchy.

Yeah, if somebody put in a $10000 bid he'd be screwed. But he'd probably deal with it ok

Clever?

If he sells for 10K, he will have to pay the proportional ebay fee as well. And then, not to speak of all the disappointed bidders on his individual items... he can forget his positive feedback profile.

It won't cure LBA by any means. It's a bit over price as lots and I am not interested in any of those.

Unless our KING start to sell his collection..........

To be honest, If I was going to drop 10K, I would do things a LOT different.

I could get brand new, from sigma a 300 F2.8 and a 500 F4.5 and still have over $2500 left to get a K20 or two, and maybe another couple of lenses

All in autofocus, with modern coatings.
