Mushroom,
Beach camera.com had the model one for $49 new. I bought a version one a few months ago from Marketplace for $50 before the new model was released. You may be able to get one even cheaper on feabay.

It is amazing that such a small lens has these many components.

Try to find some camera/lens repair store in the city or nearby places.

Feeling sorry for you.

I bet you can make $15.00 back selling the hood and caps either here or on Ebay. I've seen many of these sell with nothing other than the lens.

Btw, I feel for you. I took a fungus filled f70-210 apart and realized the lens was cooked. Even though I took pics of the disassembly, I could not get it back in one working piece.

Speaking of lens disassembling, I have taken apart my 16-45 lens. I don't know what happened to it, but one day all the middle element started to rattle inside the barrel. It was realy hard to open it, but about 100 times harder to put everything back. Before that I've opened one cheap AD2 zoom and one offbrand lens, but these plastic modern lenses are next level.
Actualy I was surprised, how cheaply it was made, realy, not for DIY enthusiasts
Of course I did not fix it, because I couldn't find the problem, so it still rattles and makes blury pics.

I might eventually put the old one back together and sell it or use the parts for a project. Who knows lol.
