FA 20 and 24mm - post your pics

Hi fellow Pentaxians,

This is an appreciation thread.

Who are shooting with either FA20 or 24mm? I do not see those lenses listed on market place. I guess owners are very happy to hold onto these 2 primes.

Would you please like to share some photos so that less fortunate folks like me can sigh and drool

Thanks,
Subho

Currently my least used lens for no particular reason other than I probably have been using my FA 35 F2 more these days.

Kibipod, I own the FA 20mm, but still haven't used it on digital. I have used it on film, though. Here are a couple of pics taken on an MX using Kodak BW400CN film (these are the crappy scans from Rite Aid).

I was gonna reply and ask for film shots, as the crop sensor doesn't do these primes the justice they deserve, but hey, there already was some!

I'm 2 posts ahead of you

Funny that, the reason I got this lens in the first place was to add a wide angle prime to my DSLR kit, and then I go and not use it on the DSLR!

Fa*24, a couple first test shots

Just picked up a FA*24 off the marketplace

here's a quick first test shot on my way home from the post office, doesn't really show a good wide angle scene, but anyway:

and here's an orchid from the following day at F2, shadowy with bright areas in the background, so not the best look at the bokeh.

The FA*24 has similar color and look to FA31, not as sharp but has good contrast which helps to look sharper.

Check out the PentaxPhotoGallery, there's some really nice (not like these 2) images, including several nice ones by Mark Dimalanta .

try this

he has some really nice nighttime photos of NYC and Vegas, also has some sunsets and beach shots here, along with other artists, then you can browse by lens and look at the FA20 pics as well
