Pentax Forums has a wide array of lens club threads, 150 in total I think. Some of them fade away over time, whilst some of them cause the internet to buckle (the 300mm plus Lens Club with nearly 38,000 posts is the clubhouse leader). Some just don't seem to be well known, or remembered, undeservedly.

This thread is just to remind everyone of rjm007's very useful Lens Clubs - Index, that is a sticky at the top of the Lens Clubs page. You can find them all, arranged by focal length.

There are some pretty obscure and esoteric clubs out there, but also a number of single-lens clubs for modern Pentax glass that are great resources for anyone thinking of a purchase. They are perhaps even more useful than in-depth reviews. I will list just a few that people may not know about.

The newest kid on the block: HD Pentax-DFA 21/2.4 Limited

Pentax's best modern lens?: HD Pentax-D FA* 1:1.4 50mm SDM AW

Though this one gives the fast 50 a run for its money: HD Pentax-D FA* 1:1.4 85mm Lens Club

The crop short zoom champion: Pentax HD Pentax-DA* 11-18mmf:2.8 DC AW

And its FF counterpart: Pentax HD Pentax D FA 1:2.8 15-30mm ED SDM WR

The new crop walk-around star: HD Pentax-DA* 16-50mm F2.8 ED PLM AW lens club

The 24-70 has been getting plenty of love: Pentax HD Pentax-D FA 24-70mm F2.8

A favourite for detail and sports: Pentax HD PENTAX-D FA* 70-200mm f/2.8 ED DC AW

The Big Boy: Pentax HD PENTAX-D FA 150-450mm F4.5-5.6 ED DC AW

P.S. I can't believe the surprisingly good DFA 28-105 hasn't rated its own thread (though there is a general DFA zoom club that seems to serve for the 28-105 and 70-210 mostly, but with no posts since last November). Seventy five pages for the 24-70 and none for the 28-105 seems a travesty. Nudge, nudge, say no more.

Imagine, a special club just for the little old industrial-looking, unassuming, lightweight (or is it welterweight?) Pentax-F 35-70.

People could create a Group with threads for lenses, that way they'd be easier to find.
