Actual lens weight of the 150-450mm

Hello folks
I looking for a favour from someone.
Could anyone who actually owns the Pentax HD PENTAX-D FA 150-450mmF4.5-5.6ED DC AW , please weigh there lens including the hood, tripod mount and any filter they may have on it.
I’am trying to confirm if the information I’am finding is correct at 2130 gms.

Thanks team.

2400 with front and rear caps, hood, tripod foot and tiny Peak Design Arco Swiss bracket and tether.

Just accept it's heavy, and enjoy it

Haha, that peak designs tripod mount is doing a lot of work.

I find it easily hand-holdable.

Likewise. In fact, I'm not sure I have ever used it on a tripod!

I love the lens, and it gets great shots, but I have only ever used it on a tripod. Perhaps I am older than the average user. It is heavy. (I used it earlier today, as it happens . . .)

I was out shooting a soccer match yesterday, and I saw several young women, professional photographers, toting around huge Canon L glass attached to very large Canon FF cameras, one on each hip, that dwarfed the DFA 150-450. The lens weighs less than the average bag of shopping and, with the aid of the tripod foot, is much more manageable. Not an issue.

right at 2425g with Arca Swiss plate and lens hood but no caps. I am 69 and have no trouble hand holding it. I occasionally flip the tripod mount to the top and wander around with it by using the mount as a handhold along with a cross body strap.

I've often used it handheld without issue, but for my regular weekend out-before-sunrise wildlife shoots I do use a monopod and Wimberly Monogimbel for obvious reasons. By mid-morning the monopod is no longer needed.
