FF wide angle zoom?

Canon has their 16-35 F2.8 L that can be used on a full frame

does Pentax have anything similar?

i'm also looking at the Sigma 12-24 thats full frame compatable...

currently my widest FF lenses @ 2.8 are my 16mm fisheye and my 18mm rectalinear sigma (yes, f2.8!)

but it would be nice to have some versatile like a 16-35!

The widest zoom lens by Pentax is the FAJ 18-35/4-5.6 I think, then there is an FA20-35/4 which is pretty nice. Pentax also got a F17-28/3.5-4.5, but that's a fisheye lens.

Yes, they do. Sigma DG lenses are full frame, DC lenses are cropped. Tamron cropped lenses are Di II.

I own the Pentax FA 20-35 F4.0. It is an excellent lens. Not quite as wide as the 17-35, but I would be willing to match it's IQ against anything else in the same range.

NaCl(with it's close focus capability it's almost a perfect "garden" lens)H2O

Its not a zoom, but ironically now you're going to be in a position to try out the 18/3.5 ZK and know if its worth it My Zeiss source doesn't stock it yet but says they will.
