My precious-s-s-s...

Well, congratulations, colleagues.
Bought a pair for my 60th birthday.
The rains will end, I will try to conduct more qualified comparative tests.

No, just in the second picture is my old long-range Bigma, which is already 12 years old, and which is "removed from combat duty."

Nice. I think I may want that 70-200 at some point, but the new 16-50 plm is going to be my next lens.

And here is a quick, quick test of both lenses (Pentax vs Bigma) at a focal length of 450 mm and shooting handheld in the evening in the rain. Both lenses are wide open.
(I don’t know why, but the camera stabilization system works much better with the native lens than with the Bigma (the OS is disabled in it). The output of good frames is about half or three times less.)

Pentax 150-450 at a focal length of 450 mm + Pentax TС 1.4x (630 mm in total). Handheld shooting, rain.
I'm in some shock (pleasant). In my opinion, for a telezoom, and even with a converter, the picture looks very sharp.

If the weather gets better, do not waste your time, just make pictures with your new gear .

Bigma at a focal length of 500 mm, fully open aperture, against Pentax 150-450 with TC 1.4x (total focal length - 504 mm). Handheld shooting.
The results are almost identical (but on Bigma there is a small color border around the edges - weak, but still noticeable).

Indeed, I have the same feeling about this combination.
