Is the new one not going to be WR?

I would wait, in case the old one is reduced to clear or to at least see the final price of the new one to decide if it's worth the extra cash.

Yes, I was happy to get it used. I often use it for (unofficial) portraits of incoming graduate students, 90 is a perfect length.

Fun (and annoying) fact: The EXIF makernote for this one is 172E but 272E is clearly stamped on the lens.
