I hear you guys. I myself have succumbed to buying SLR bodies and lenses that I rarely am able to use, but perfectly happy to collect. So really, my hobbies are to shoot photos and collect gear. I never realized that until a couple of months ago.

I used to long for DA*s and Limiteds, but lately, I found myself looking for hidden gems from times past.

That said, as long as it makes you happy, it matters not whether you buy, sell, shoot, or collect stuff.

+1. I tell my wife that she is lucky that I have efficiently placed my two hobbies of photography and gear-ology together. It actually is cheaper. Hey it could be worse. I could love golf and hunting or sailing and skiing, etc.

Now there's a shrewd way of making the better half green-light funds for a 31mm Ltd. Hahaha. Cheers.

In the grand scheme of things, this is a drop in the bucket. For what I dropped into my track car over 3+ years of racing I could have an S2 and a bucket of Leica glass.

Or you could own a sailboat.

Or an airplane.

It's all relative...
