Hello people here is the dilema would you if you had the choice which option would you get if you had the lens listed below in signature already

1) FA 77(used)
2) M85 (used)& Nokton 85(new)
3)Pentax 12-24(new)

Prices are not all equal but within $40 of each choice

It depends if you like to shoot more portraits or landscapes. You already have the DA 70 but if you shoot a lot of portraits you might want to have the FA 77 too. But if you like to shoot a lot of landscapes, you might want to get the DA 12-24. Although you already have the DA 10-17 fisheye and the DA 21. Alternately you might just save the money and enjoy the lenses that you already have. And you have a lot of them too.

I can only comment on what I would choose if my situation, based on my shooting style, I would choose the FA77. Other than indoors or other small, crowded situations, this would be a great length for me.

You have a lot of lenses it seems. I find it easier to buy everything I want (within reason) by deciding which lens ultimately is best in its range. So I say, buy them all, compare them to what you have, sell the stuff you know you are only adding to your dust collection. In the end, you'll know you have the exact right lenses for you through experience.

Do you mean Nokton 58? (...as I run off to check the net...)

if i go with the FA 77 then the DA 70 would probably go up for sale as I would not need both of them. The fisheye is a great lens but it is just that a fisheye the 12-24 will not have that distortion, course the new tamron 10-24 is cheaper but really untested

Work out what you need, by what it is you want to photograph, that you don't have covered lenswise just now.

Not what the LBA folk wants or needs to hear, but by buying only what you need, is the first step to full LBA recovery.
