Since I just ordered the DFA100, I'll be posting pics from it in the near future of the Camelias that have just started blooming in my yard. In the meantime, the DA35 will suffice for taking the first pics. I also ordered the Lightroom 2 upgrade, as well--can't wait to try it.

What the heck???? You guys are getting 31's, 50-135's, 300mm, yada, yada, and all I got is a card saying "I love you, but you are the slowest nurse in the state of VA". (my wife had surgery, and I'm taking care of her).

I found a MZ-S at a great price, and told my wife I would buy it, check it out, and then resell it. Well, after checking it out... I wrapped it up for myself and stuck it under the tree. She wasn't surprised. :-)

ps nice books Javier! I bet that Adams book is 50% inspiring, 50% intimidating. Enjoy!

I must have been a bad boy. All I got from Santa for my hobby is a $30 50/1.4 M lens and nothing else.

Congrats on all your wonderful gifts. Share the photographic results with the underprivileged, please.

Tyler, that's one heck of a camera. I have that ranked as one of the modern classic cameras. I keep seeing it sitting on this camera shop I frequent, but I hesitate to ask the price. They price their items really high. I shudder at the thought of how they'd price that Contax RF and Zeiss lenses.

Hey folks! Merry Christmas Everybody... hope Santa did a good job, and you're all busy playing with your new lenses/cameras...
I don't have a shot of the lens itself but here's a try-out shot taken yesterday, with my "new" old lens on my K20D! WOOHOOO! LBA's been extended to further & longer roads... heheh

Regards from the north,
