DA35 Macro + extension rings?

Are there any extension rings available which allow the camera to control aperture?

Cheap Chinese are totally useless with this lens since the aperture is closed by default and having no aperture ring it is impossible to open it wider. Not that many of them can be used (since the focusing distance goes close to 0 very quickly while adding the rings) but still.

DA35 has a 14cm minimum focus distance, the subject almost touches the front element already at this distance, you can't even pull out the lens hood. Don't think you can get any closer than that ...

No, it's 14cm

The camera body alone is thicker than 14mm already. Focus distance is the distance between the subject and camera sensor ...

Frank's right. If you want higher magnifications than can be gotten with the DA35mm's built-in focusing heliocoid, you should probably be looking at one of the longer macro lenses such as the 100mm. These are much more amenable to extension tubes.

To answer your question about aperture control, what you want are a set of tubes which pass through the electrical contacts, such as these:

These are "Kenko Pz-AF UNIPLUS TUBE 25" tubes which also have the auto-focus drive screw (although auto-focus is not very important when you're working at the kind of distances implied by using extension tubes). I found this pic in this forum posting: Extension tubes with K10 - Photo.net Pentax Forum
