You better try here: Pentax DA 55 mm 1.4 SDM - Foto Erhardt - 445 Euro also including VAT and a well respected Pentax shop. This price is lower that the one for the DA70 Ltd and very close to DA21 Ltd. I'd say not bad at all ...

Certainly another reference point.
Allthough I usually buy at a 'local' shop (125 Km). It's about the cheapest you can get around here and a lot easier when you have to return something. Plus you get a 2 year warranty with everything ( Belgian law).
Price for DA*300 for instance is €964,95 versus €928,98 + Shipping (€19,99).
They don't seem to work with pre-ordering though - so no quote on the DA*55 (yet).

No problem, Bart, glad if I helped you! The 445-480 Euro is a decent price for this lens anything more means too much of a margin for the seller. The problem is that Pentax will rise globaly European prices due to the Yen/Euro ratio and I suspect after the beggining of the 2009 we'll see some new (worse) prices.
