@wasp, both those photos are lovely, and I would print them and display them, neither is the last word in sharpness, but they are dreamy

with my Pentax M 85, I've found that tripod mounted, its incredibly sharp....its just that using such a lens, its typically a grab shot, portrait, which takes the edge off the sharpness

Another lens with fantastic bokeh at this focal length is the Tamron sp 90.

It never occured to me the 90s were as good as the same focal length
I have an early and a late Tamron SP, a Vivitar Series1"bokina" as well as a Vivitar Auto tele 90mm 2.8 macro I could have thrown in the mix!
I guess I think "portrait" for the 85s and "closeup" for the 90s
