Debating between the Tamron 90mm F2.8 Macro and the Pentax DA 100mm Macro.

I'd like the 55-300 as well, but will probably get the Macro first, as summer is around the corner and I have several backwoods motorcycle trips planned. In Saskatchewan, that means bugs and flowers.

At the moment I have the AF160 macro ringflash on order, but no one knows when it is going to be released...

I am hesitating on taking the DA*300...

My next purchase ?
It is likely to be either the K20 replacement or some more long fast glass, whichever comes across first. Right now they both appear to be in short supply...

After giving away my FA50 and buying a DA* 16-50 to fill that range (and below), I'm looking to buy a 43 ltd to complete my lens collection. Of course, that would be temporary and I want to see what Pentax comes up with in terms of camera/lens compatibility.

DA*55

I love my FA50 1.4, and my FA77, but if the DA*55 delivers the pop of the 77 in a wider FL I will take it in replacement of the other two.

Either a K20D to replace My K10D or a Sigma 180mm macro.

I just cannot make up my mind which just yet ......

i scored the DA* 16 - 50 last month, now i am saving up for it's big brother the 50 - 135 DA*

the reviews are good, and i think it would be ideal for nice portraits...

da* 50 - 135 users: is it really that good?

I am going backwards ... I am getting a Spotmatic to compliment my K10Ds.
And fully utilise my Super Takumar lenses.

Hello,

My wishlist is headed by a 20/2.8 (either the A or FA version) , followed by a Voigtlander 125/2.5 ... Then i would really like to put my hands on an M42 focusing helicoid, to play with enlarger lenses ...

But for now, i have to fund my bank account ...

There was a 20mm A on the Marketplace for a few minutes yesterday before it sold.

Remarkable indeed: I haven't used my SP500 once since I got the K10D.
Guess 30+ years was enough. It's now safely tucked away.

I would continue to say the DA*55 is the next planned purchase... In fact, it was my "next planned purchase" back last summer except it was remapped for the fall, so I bought maybe 8 or 9 lenses since then, so who knows how many lenses I'll actually buy before that one comes out. Maybe I'll get SO good at manually focusing the Voigtlander Nokton 58 and put the *55 money in the *60-250 kitty.....
