There was a 20mm A on the Marketplace for a few minutes yesterday before it sold.
There's also one on KEH.

You know, I saw that listing but my hands were tied waiting to see if my offer on the FA 43mm would be accepted, I really would have liked that lens. As it is I've now got the three amigos:-). Now I need to save up for something between 15mm (hint hint Pentax) and 24mm and I'll never need another lens! (I wish)

My next purchase has technically already been made, but I'm not counting it as finished until it's in my hot little hands.

I snagged a clearanced Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 from prodigital2000 on ebay for $280. After weighing the options of the DA* 16-50 and Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 the Tamron won out.

Its a real shame that all of the lenses in that speed/range seem to have QC issues, but at least with the Tamron I can fix the front focus in debug if my copy shows it.

Next purchase after that will probably be a good P-TTL swivel/bounce flash to round out my kit. Still haven't decided between the Sigma 530 super, Metz 48 or the Pentax 540.

Now that the DFA100 is in my hands, my next lens purchase will most likely be the DA21. As to when I'll be able to get it is a good question--it all depends on whether or not I decide to keep my DA35. If I were to trade or sell the 35, I could get the 21 pretty quickly, but if I were to keep it, then I would most likely have to wait until summer, at least, as I've got some other things ahead of it in line, finanancially speaking.

Ooh I'm wanting to replace my DA40 for a DA35 for my food photography. But I'm doing okay so far.

I think my next purchases are the LX3, maybe the 60-250 if it fares well (the LX3 + K20D w/ 60-250 will be an awesome combo), and then another flash + trigger etc for my strobist kit.

Ever since reading about the DA-35 macro I've had an itch for it. Hopefully soon I can scratch that itch.

For some reason I find myself photographing food. Guess I should assemble those in a gallery now that I have >1 food photos

I should really become more proficient with the lenses I have now but I'm hankering for something wider than my DA* 16-50. I was thinking of a DA 12-24 but they're still pretty pricey. I missed a used one on EekBay by $11 that sold for $441. I suspect that if Pentax brings out a DA* 11-16 that it will be pretty expensive also. I wouldn't mind a 400mm f/4 for wildlife and birds either and I've been working out in the gym so I can carry it.

I would love to get a flash, the FA 35/2 and may be the DA 15 if the price is good.

I've just bought the FA50 and I love the f1.4 but its a bit too long for indoor. I use this lens in company's Xmas party I can go without flash yet the picture is still bright. I love the speed, bokeh and its compactness but its a bit too long for indoor, so I ended up taking mostly solo portrait and no group shots. I found myself need to get at least 4-5 feet away to get a head and shoulder shot.

After the FA50 I think I am in love with the FA primes so naturally I set my eyes on the FA35/2. Hopefully I can get it within the year.

The flash, it is also related to the FA50. After using the FA50 I realize a flash can really do something a fast lens couldn't do. That is giving me big DoF while using a faster shutter speed and lower ISO. I'm still not too sure how much better I can get by buying a flash so I will start with something cheap (so the AF360 and AF540 is out of my list). Also I want to spend sometime to see if I can improve my shots without getting anything extra. So any lens/flash I will try to delay buying as much as possible.

The DA15 will probably be my "fun" lens. As the widest I have is the 18mm from the 18-250mm and the kit lens; would love to try something wider if I have the chance.

ps: if there's a "Pentax Santa", tell me where should I send my letter to

Not surprisingly, I find my FA 35/2 much more usable indoors than my FA 50/1.4, and if I had to choose one or the other to keep, it would be the FA 35 hands down. The IQ of the 2 lenses is very similar, but for my general usage, the FA 35 is a much more versatile lens. The FA 35 just does an amazing job for me, time after time.

For those of you who have expressed interest in the DA35, mine is up for sale or trade (for a DA21) in the Marketplace.

I do like it, but it just isn't quite wide enough and since I now have the 100 macro, it really doesn't make a whole lot of since to keep the DA35 when I've got the FA43, which is so close in FL. I figure that if I kept both, then one would wind up getting neglected and I can't afford to have expensive glass sitting around that I don't use. Between the 35 and the 43, I like the 43 just a little bit more, so it's time to find a new home for the 35 where it will be loved and used faithfully.
