But now I have a question. Both lenses when I opened the bag in the soft case, a small
bit of the lens hood had broken off, a bit of the inner piece where the hood attatches to
the lens, anyone else noticed this with theirs? This lens so far is a lot sharper than the first
but I need to give it the newspaper test before I decide to keep it. I am begining to wonder if
The ups gorillas have something to do with this as well.
Update, the 2nd one is centered correctly enough I can't see any problems with test charts or newspapers, and far sharper than the first. I'm keeping it but I am still a bit concerned about the lil broken part of the hood, it may seem that at least with the 50-135 Pentax may need to rethink their packaging. Amazon did put some of those lil air bag thingies in the box but still.
