FA50/1.4 or F50/1.7?

Need suggestions please. I am unable to decide which lens to buy among these two. Which gives better bokeh and sharp pics?

In my experience:

FA 50 1.4: "better" (or at least smoother) bokeh
F 50 1.7: Sharper from f/1.7 to f/2.4

After f/2.4 they even out and by f/4 they're incredibly sharp.

F 50 1.7 is usually about $30-$80 cheaper than the FA 50 1.4.

Even though the FA 50 1.4's bokeh is smoother, I really like the F 50 1.7's bokeh also.
