Clicking sound on my new 12-24 F4 DA

Hi I just unpacked my 12-24DA I got from pro2000 digital in Canada, got a good deal 500.00 US Shipped, yet..
When I turn the zoom collar at around 20mm going down to 18mm the lens makes a clicking sound. is this normal?

just took a quick look at mine and I don't hear any clicking sound you're mentioning.

Nope, can't hear anything on mine either.

There is a slight click on mine as well - though no issues what so ever, the lens is tack sharp. If you hold the aperture lever open you'll notice that the blades close down a bit which is the cause of the click noise.

I tried zooming in and out with the aperture lever free and held closed and didn't hear anything. Maybe my ears are getting too old...

No clicking at all on mine. Moved zoom ring and focus ring and no clicking at any point.
