FA* lenses weather sealing?

Does anyone know if the FA* zooms are weather sealed?

I know they may not be sealed as well as DA*, but are ther light rain sealed ?

None of the FA* lenses (primes or zooms) are weather sealed - I own 3 of them. They are fine with misty or foggy conditions. I'd suggest a draped cloth or plastic for rain, or a 3rd party solution.

I use a Lens Coat on the FA* 300/2.8 for general protection/camouflage, especially for wildlife shooting.

EDIT: Marc apparently confirmed this seconds before me.

It seems the DA* is the only line with weather resistance (after doing some research). I'm not an FA* owner myself, however.

even with sealed lenses, in extremely rough weather it's probably safer to use a rain cover anyways

I have a chance to purchase the FA*80-200 (for a lot of money), however maybe I should consider the DA*50-135 instead.

How close to the price of the DA* is the FA* and what is the condition of the FA*?
