Da* 50-135 omg!!!!!!!!!

DAMN!!!! just did a studio shoot with my 2nd copy and all I have to say is WOW

I had the models, Nikon D300 owners and canonite owners drooling and jaws agape

I think I found my ultimate studio lens.

Not just studio. It is great on walkabouts as well. Only downside is that it is a bit heavy for the body.

WoW. That is incredible. I just purchased my K20d and my next step is upgarding my lens collection. Thinking about the 50-135 or the 200mm2.8, but that is awesome. Great job.

There's such a thing as too sharp when it comes to portrait lens. I haven't had a chance to use the 50-135mm just because it's too long for me in the studios.

I don't think so personally. You can always use a filter or touch it up on your computer. Being so sharp makes it a great multi-purpose lens.

Love that 100% crop!

So what was wrong w/the 1st copy? Thought I wanted a 100mm-ish macro prime and was sort of talked into this lens. I'm so nervous about buying this lens now tho. :ugh:

edit: I just realized based on the reflection in the lips of the 1st photo... & you were outside?!
