Since I don't see the DA21 for sale in the Marketplace too often, I posted a "want" ad, thinking it might take a bit before anybody responded and was quite surprised when I went online and found an offer waiting for me the next morning. The price was right, so I snatched it up.

Cyclingshooter--I'm glad you're enjoying the DA35; it looks like it's found a good home.

I have had a few good results with my DA21.

No HDR, just as it was:

A panorama (hope you can see in its full resolution):

At first I was like "no HDR? How could the sky look so blue when it's dark
enough out to have street lights on?!?"

The I noticed that the building is casting shadows on the sky.

Taken in that Vegas joint, right? The fake little cities indoors?

(Nice shot, BTW)

I found this full resolution image in flickr. This is what I like about this lens, it is not necessarily sharp, lots of more sharp lenses out there, but you see details, everything, you not only see the house in the corner, not just the back yard of the house, not just the wood table in the backyard, but you can even see the stuff on the table...it's freaky...I guess this is what is called micro-contrast.

WARNING : LARGE FILE

Flickr Photo Download: White windmill

I see three cows, a horse, what other animals do you see ? a guy by the shed close to the ravine probably is holding a fishing pole, what detail...can't wait to get a scenery like this and enjoy it for months....

My 21 should be here tomorrow. I look forward to getting out onto the street with it and seeing what I see. I blame all of you...

Go for it....I don't have any to contribute yet, but yours and others who have posted here should suffice for now.
