Very cool shots Nuf.... that looks like someplace I'd like to visit. Where is it?

Glad you like it, first photo is in Tokyo. But the rest are in Kyoto, Japan. It's definitely one of the places to visit. Since I only had one day, I will definitely go back, as I didn't have enough time to explore it.

I'll play.

The DA 21 is a great little lens. I used it a lot last year on a trip through the US and Canada, it and the 50-135 spent the most time on the camera. The thing I must admit to liking the most about the DA 21 (other than the image quality) are the inquistive looks one gets from other shooters .

My tribute to the DA 21.

Love the shots MikeSF, and that girls is so cute, what a great shot. She's looking out of the frame, most of the back ground is behind her, breaks the rules but works great. The rules only work when they work.

Yes, what a dinky little lens. Poor guy, maybe one day he'll get a nice big zoom so he can take better pictures.

Nice ones, by the way, Mallee. Maybe you don't need that zoom after all.

Norm, beautiful sky!

Mike, I always love your lanscapes, especially the long exposures. You really know how to put that 9-stop ND to good use.

And Edward and Arv, nice close-ups. It's no macro lens, but I find it can hold its own just fine with close-ups.

thanks so much! I love using the ND but in this set, i don't think i used it, just stopping all the way down at dusk to get longish exposures. maybe 10sec, nothing too crazy.

Wow, I didn't realize you could get such a surreal effect like you have in that second one with just a 10-second exposure. I suppose I should have noticed that the sun didn't move much in the frame, though.

I asked what was good to photograph in Killaloe, this was the only thing anyone could think of. It was a Nice location to just put the 21 on and walk around.
