The DA-21 goes to a car show

These are jpegs straight out of the camera. I suspect a few of them can be improved with some pp work and definitely with some cropping. Reduced image sizes for BB use.

There are more on Flickr if you care to look.

I took my 21 again for a spin. This time my subject was my 7 month old. She is now sitting up on her own and crawling all over the place. Here is one my favorites from a series of photos I took this past weekend. The 21 was just awesome.... Shot in Monochrome from the camera.... ISO speed at 3200...
Nice one!
I don't know about you, but having a child completely changed my photography interests -- lots more people shots than I ever had before.

I really love that first shot -- great use of the starburst!

Here is one I took today at the harbor... It seems a bit soft, but that could be the ND variable i am using...

Some autumn colors from Blackwater Falls State Park in West Virginia. Second shot is a stitch of 7 images. Used a Marumi Super DHG CPL for all three, and a Marumi DHG ND8 for the waterfall.

Soft or not... Actually the softness I believe is what drew me to it. Stellar poto! Sharp isn't always better.

Two of my favorite uses for this lens -- close candid portraits and sunbursts.

Great lens that lives on my camera...
The limitation is me, in this case forgetting to use the K-5 iso goodness and get the shutter above 1/15th

A few from Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks with the DA 21. What a great lens to hike with!
