Makes sense. Realistically, the FOV isn't that *different* and better to go a little too wide than not quite wide enough, since you can always crop.

Entirely a matter of taste. I generally prefer shooting without flash - it's far less obtrusive, and I usually prefer the look on natural light, even if it means shooting at high ISO and maximum aperture. But others have the opposite preference, or are good enough at controlling flash that you can't tell the difference. That's all well and good, but the obtrusiveness of it still gets to me.
