Is Lens without SDM AF more noisier?

The topic may be covered before. I just wonder if the AF Motor is more noisier for lens without SDM? Is third party lens more noisier compared to Pentax lens without SDM?

I believe all lenses for Pentax are either SDM/HSM which will be quiet or driven by the screw-drive from the camera body which is significantly louder. Third party and Pentax brand screw-drive lenses seem fairly similar to me, but there is a lot of variability in the noise from different screw drive lenses, so some are louder than others. SDM lenses are very quiet! Manual Focus lenses are quite quiet too .
