Is there anything I'm missing??

Well...

Samsung and pentax now work a lot together and samsung camera owners are more than happy to have the whole pentax selecction of lenses to choose from.

But is there anything I'm missing??

Do Samsung have any great lenses or any old schneider kreuznach lens that would create a great performance on high pixel cameras like k20d?

There are much speaking about pentax lenses on samsung, but the opposite?

Please help me out what I am missing

Thanks

Regards Emil

Samsung have no legacy lenses of their own but their DSLR has the PK mount so it has inherited, if you like, all of the lenses that the Pentax DSLR can use, with or without adapter.

Hi, and thank you for the answer guys!

But schneider kreuznach has nothing to do with samsung then?

I read this morning that schneider kreuznach have been producing lenses for over 90years....should be any good pro lenses out there that could press the pixels out of the k20ds sensor like pressing juice from an orange

Regards/saludos/hälsningar

The so-called "Schneider-Kreuznach" lenses that come with current Samsung DSLRs are Pentax lenses rebadged. Identical except different text and a blue stripe instead of a green one. 100% a marketing trick.

EDIT: Actually now that I think about it, they should have a different coating than Pentax SMC, so essentially they're identical except they're potentially worse
