Which filters for Pentax-FA* 300mm f2.8 ?

I got hold of an old FA* 300 2.8. Filter holder is included but no normal drop-in filters were included. Tried it out and there is definitely a focus issue. Any advice on what filter I could get as a replacement? Bet it is hard to find an original filter

A clear filter from B+W, Kenko, Marumi, Hoya, Rodenstock, Zeiss or Heliopan works fine:
