autofocus 50mm f1.7 or below

Hey guys. I bought my K10D as my first SLR. Its great and I love in. In fact, for the first two weeks I had troubles putting it down!

Anyway here is my question. Currently I am borrowing lenses from my mum (she used to be into photography - not so much now. She has an ME Super - brilliant camera). Anyway, so I use her 50mm f1.7 and he 80-200mm zoom as well as the 18-55mm autofocus lens that came with the camera. I was wondering if anyone could anyone recommed an autofocus version of the 50mm prime lens mainly because I can't keep on using my mum's lenses forever and the lack of autofocus can be annoying, espeically in situations that are over quickly.

Any ideas?

Look no further than the Pentax FA 50mm f/1.4....

I bought a Pentax FA 50mm f/1.4 last week. It is a great lens. Excellent quality, specially at low light.

Go for it.

Where abouts can I get one - they seem pretty sparse. i'm in the UK.

I saw a couple on ebay this morning...and I noticed KEH has one coming in soon. If you're looking for new, you might just have to get your name on the list somewhere...such is the case with so many Pentax lenses!

I bought mine last week from B & H Photo in New York. I beleive they ship it overseas.
