One last time, the PFing is really not an issue, it's the bokeh cyan fringing that causes grief.

.

Little 'street shooting' in the MOA (Mall Of America) today with the 77ltd.
No great art, but I think the easy-brilliant IQ of the lens shows in a couple of these.

(These are all cropped a significant amount)

f/2.4 - very tight crop - stunning resolution is retained, IMO

Some great shots here are selling me on this lens if I wasn't already sold on it. Have to find a way to get a good deal on one before spring!

??

Hmmm. My original thread now starts at post #24, and this thread is no longer listed as being started by me. Is this how communism starts in the digital age, co-operation of posts, redistribution of threads?

(one day... one day...)
Technique to acquire a 77Ltd.

1) Sacrifice a small bag of disused lenses to the God of LBA.

2) Buy wife a nice gift with proceeds of sacrifice.

3) Every Friday remove a $20 Bill from wallet and place in plain white #10 envelope at bottom of small bag that formerly held disused lenses.

4) Check out Henry's Buy it Now Price - $549

5) After 28 weeks (PayPal & Shipping incl), mouse click BiN

6) If Henry's deal is gone, keep adding 20's to the bag - maybe 45 weeks. You've waited this long . . . just start.

Tomorrow.

Wait! From MY wallet? That's where all those $20's are going!

I thought these were supposed to go UP in price this month! A good deal from Henry's? Are those locusts on the horizon?

Funnily enough, I've started to do that with the monthly honorarium that I receive for sitting on my exec board for the union in my workplace. Throw that in along with the odd payment or two I get from friends for hosting their websites and I'm about halfway there for the cost of the 31!

Oh 77, how you rock

.

Its one of those lenses that makes you look like you know what you're doing. Even the simplest snapshots take on a unique flavor.
