Jupiter 9 has arrived

Finally found one of these on FleaBay, now to take some photos.

First impressions are very solidly built, this one has very fluid action to focus etc.

Have promised the wife no more - but just how long that will last is anyones guess, may have to sell some to buy some.

I remember the day I got mine...

Congrats on the lens. what a great time it was when I got mine. I have never used that style of aperture before and it took me a while to get used to it. Now I wish all my MF lenses had it.

Post some shots when you can...

Congradulation on the lens. Post more test images. Voe has been always comparing the images from this lens to Fa 77mm ltd ones.

And

Voe, I cannot believe that you sold this lens!

Hi Voe, I had a suspicion it was you, we've kept it in the family.

I nearly fell off my chair with excitement when I saw it on EBay - had been looking most of last year.

Now to try it out.

regards

No it is a m42 version, I live in Australia not USA or Russia where they are plentiful. Most sellers on this Marketplace usually have restrictions on where they post - I rarely waste my time looking on the Marketplace for that reason - plus the Dollar exchange is in your favour by so much it is not worth the effort. Something selling in USA for $150 is $225 - $250 Aus.

regards
