It shouldn't because the part that presses the pin is to the inside of the adapter. I have one for the Mamiya CS mount that is specifically made for the SX series lenses and it retains infinity.

The K-mount is from these people. The one with the "shoulder" is special order and 38 pounds. The price has gone up since I booked marked it.

Edit: I need to take a pic of my Mamiya adapter. I think Yashica made one as well for their mount.

K10D + Cosinon 50mm f/1.8, M42 extension tubes.

I use M42 lenses all the time - they've provided me with many of my favourite photos this year.

This isn't really true. Actually Nesster's statement is more accurate than you give it credit. First off, Pentax does maintain infinity focus with the authentic Pentax adapter and it does it at the 45.46 registration distance. However, Canon can't use FD and FL glass with a couple of minor exceptions making reverse compatible for canon glass very small. I have the EOS-FD macro adapter that allows the use of the macro lenses and the FD bellows on EOS bodies. There is a related adapter that works on some lenses. However, these were made in limited supply and are often very expensive when found. I want even get into the metering issues but Pentax is very straightforward with the m42 lenses. Pentax's current bodies can use 98% of all vintage Pentax glass since 1957. Canon is at less than 1%.

Still really loving my A. Schacht Travenar 90mm 2.8. Would love to pick up an old Tak or some other German glass. Here is recent image. I also love NIK software for processing.

Wojtek, great pictures and I really like the boy portrait. He really pops out of the picture although there is no sun in the picture. The sunlit picture of the red berries is great also imo. Are all these pics from the Soligor ?

Here's a macro shot from a cheap plastic barrel lens, which you can also find with the 'Panorama' label. If it is fogged up a little, you can clean it from the front easily (for the tinkerer that is). It has a dedicated Aperture cable release connection, should work on bellows.
