I have a K-mount version to sell - it didn't sell in the marketplace. I'm not sure how competitive my price would be to you. PM if interested.

It is stevebrot's go-to wide-angle as well. It is better optically than the 18-55 kit and still way cheaper than any of the other available options (DA*16-50, DA 16-45, Tamron 17-50, etc.). It is also a very usable fisheye on 35mm film. It is always in my bag and often enough on the K10D or one of my film cameras. It will remain that way until a more cost-affective option is available from Pentax, Tamron, Tokina, or Sigma.

Steve
Yes, way cheaper. I did not realize it was your go-to wide angle lens. I would not want to invoke another Pentaxian power unnecessarily. I faintly remember Daniel writing about his heavy reliance upon this little 16mm somewhere and thought he might help.

edit: I just ventured into the Lens Database and read Steve's thorough review of the Zenitar--it is now clear Steve is the go-to man for info on this 16mm.

I don't know if I would go that far. There are several forum members that use the Zen and most are pretty knowledgeable about its strong and its weak points and are also quite loyal to the little beast.

(Cult classic in every sense of the word...)

So true! I have accidentally included my feet, elbows, or edge of hand in several shots!
