Here's a good choice and the price is right.

But I'd get a Super program or Super A (also known as a Program Plus) if you can find a good version under $75.00.

It's important to know what you want to photograph before you can know which lenses you'll want.
There are a lot of good manual lenses available, even being sold on this forum, that you could choose from.

what im interested in is street photography / photojournalism ... especially black and white

I need to focus between K1000 and Super A

both are fully manual ?? And still lenses

You might need to hold these cameras in your hand and test them out yourself.
It sounds like you don't know much about the cameras you're choosing between.
Do you want auto focus? Then your two options are no good to you.
Do you want zoom or prime lenses?

Photojournalism is quite a demanding vocation for a manual everything camera user, but street photography can conceivably be achieved quite well with the right gear. You might need to look at a wide zoom and telephoto zoom to start off with. Check out the forum's lens database for more info on what is around.
