DA 35mm Limited Macro on a K2000

Any reason I wouldn't want to do this?

Edit: Hmm I should have put this in lenses....

I have directed this thread to SLR section here.

Regarding your question, I do not see any problems with this combination. Or you would have to be more specific with your questions.

i personally fail to see the point of the question. So in a way I'm saying that you should put it on!

Guess i should have been more specific. What I'm wondering is if it's too much lens for the camera. I need a macro lens, and I found a killer deal on this one and it seems like a pretty killer lens. I think I'll go for it.

Do it!

Great lens, and don't underestimate your K2000! It can put out some very fine images.

Thats what I figured, more expensive tools just make it easier to get the job done as someone else phrased it on these forums somewhere. Thanks for the quick advice.

Too much lens? No way - the K2000/K-M + DA 35ltd macro is almost the perfect combo, in truth. Both are small, and the K-M gives as good IQ as any APS-C camera you can buy at ISO 400 and less.

I loved using my DA35ltd on my K-M:

Is there such thing as too much lens?

Edit: I thought is was more of a "not enough money" situation for some of us.

DA35 Is a Great Lens

Go for the DA35 you will love it.
It's a normal lens, a macro lens, shoots good landscapes. You will get loads of use out of it.
