Sigma 28-70 f/2.8 EX DG suitable for FF or film camera ?

Hi,

I look for Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 EX DG ASP IF Zoom Lens for a few days.I know "EX DG" sigma lens are suitable for FF and film camera but I saw this lens new version photographs and there is no "f" ring on the lens.So,my opinions are confused.

Help;
Can "Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 EX DG" be used on film camera ?

there is no "f" ring on this lens.So,is it used like "FAJ" lens ?

I found these images about lens from forum's market place ;

Yes, DG is for FF camera, and YES if there is no aperture ring, you have to use it with the body, which can control the aperture.
