How are you able to adjust aperture settings for this lens on the K10d? Thanks.

EDIT: Please disregard--I have found the somewhat hidden manual switch behind the aperture ring--for a second I thought I had one of those lenses which could not be stopped down without hacking or jamming the pin--I feel much better now--off to shoot.
I am looking forward to seeing your results. Enjoy!

Steve

I saw that. I also saw one on eBay in apparently excellent condition that went for only $15.50 today!

Hi Steve, I was the lucky one you who picks up this lens. I also have the M200 F.4 and was not really looking for another 200mm, but since I have shooting more with takumar, it would be just little easier to have another M42 lens without the need of taken out the adapter. We should all post our result here to share. Hope my lens will be here soon.

That is funny. I missed the bid and the lens ends up a few miles south of me.

I am really looking forward to taking delivery of mine. It should be here by Monday. The 135/2.8 is such a gem, I guess my expectations are pretty high. We will see how it stacks up against the Pentax-M 200/4.

So the lens still ends up in this northwest corner! haha
Two thing we know so far in compared to the M200, the Vivitar is half stop faster and heavier. I think the IQ should be just as good if not better.

Sorry Dave, but f/3.5 is only 1/3 stop faster than f/4
