Actually I almost bought an M42 version of the same lens which is still available at not too high price, but decided to keep using the FA77 and 85 instead ...

Yes, thanks for that... I am about to buy a FA77 and it is really interesting to check tests like that.. the voigtlander seems incredible, can not decide which one is better..

Great test. Both look great, but the Voigtlander does look a touch sharper.

I just bought the Nikon mount for this lens.

Little difference between the two in this particular setting. I am sure both have their own merits and weaknesses

I prefer the bokeh of the Pentax but the Voigtlander seems to have much less CA. Both appear to perform very well though.

This looks like a nice alternative to the FA77 or DA70. All three appear to be in the same quality ballpark, and all are reasonably small. This one is much rarer, of course, which adds to the mystique. angelodn, the close-up of the shutter and roof shows just how good this lens can be!
