Oh, no. Don't tell me that you have this lens!

I saw Maffory having this lens in DPR and he has posted many winner images from this lens.

Small, compact, rendering mood very well. I have been searching for this lens for ages!

There are not many around. I had read that there were only 750 pk mount copies or so around. The figure can be wrong but it is definitely rare.

If you happen to have another copy around, I am all hands up for this gem

It seems like you could pick one up for 449 Euros from SH photo GmbH, stock number N19033 - unless it is too late.

It's not too late. But their prices seem a bit steep.

There was some rumour I remember a while back about some of the Heliar DNA living on in the DA 70/2.4 Ltd

From what I understand it is the same optical formula as the M-mount 75/2.5 that voigtlander sells. If so it is a fine lens, but nothing extraordinary. I certainly wouldn't pay over $500 for one. Just to keep things in perspective, for that much money you could buy a used voigtlander bessa camera and a used m-mount 75mm to go with it. Or a used 77 limited

Voigtlander f. Pentax PK 2,5/75mm Color-Heliar SL su eBay.it Sonstige, Optik, Foto Camcorder

probably the price was a bit high, but the lens it's very rare and this increase its value.
I will test it and compare to 77 and FA*85.

Voigtlander color-heliar 75 f2.5

I bought this lens when I was living in Tokyo in 2005-6. Back then Fujiya Camera, next to Nakano station, had a full range of Voigtlander lenses on PK mount at reasonable prices - I think it cost me around US$240 new. I also bought the APO-Lanthar 125 at the same time. The mount was a bit sticky at first - jammed a couple of times - but is fine now.

It's a beautifully built lens. I have the bomb-proof metal square hood, which you need because this lens is very prone to flare, and a little CA.

I have often thought of selling it and replacing it with a DA70, which would be more practical. But I love the very different rendering it gives to my Pentax lenses. It is razor sharp, the colours and contrast are less rich, but the bokeh is wonderful. Superb for portraits, if nor quite as stunningly sharp as the 125. And very compact. I'm glad I bought it when I did.

Oh yeah, I still remember him posting photos by this wonderful lens. As a matter of fact, I even asked him to sell the lens to me a couple of years ago, but he didn't wanna let go The PK/A mount isn't easy to find nowadays, although it cost less than $300USD new back in the old days.

Looking forward to that. It seems to be in the same build-group as the 77 Ltd, i.e., beautiful, precise, beautiful, metal, beautiful build.
