Focusing Help

Is there a page that tells about Front & Back Focus? and how to adjust your camera to compensate for it.

(Gets a Katz Eye (or similar) focusing screen and you will never need to ask this question again...)

To answer your question, this is a good starting point:
Focus Testing - photo.net
The Pentax manual is pretty good about how to use the AF adjustment controls. Trial and error with the AF adjustments is the way to tweak the AF.

I don't think that's necessarily true. The same factors that would tend to cause front-focusing or back-focusing with any particular lens while autofocusing would still be, I think, in play when manually focusing, too. (That is to say, when manually focusing on the focus screen, whetehr using a split image or not, if the registration distance is wrong for that lens, it would be wrong for both MF and AF.) No?
