Mistake and 3,5/28 ST

My wife bought a Super Takumar 3,5/28. I didn't like it because not MC.

But did very good his job.

it may not be an SMC but its still coated, dont underestimate its flare resistance power.

I wanted to be an SMC purist as well but I just recently got a 200mm super version. I find it quite good and the lack of SMC doesnt really show unless you have something to compare it with.

Would be nice to have SMC of course but... shoot with what you have!

Use a lens hood, this will help a lot!

Check out the scores of Super Takumar pictures that are more than adequate in the Takumar Club thread. I don't think you will be disappointed by this lens.

No, she bought it for herself. I was taken the lens to use it and show to her that it is so-so, but it's a very good ones.

She was in the right way.

If the above lens was made late in the super tak 28mm f3.5 run, it could have the same coating as early Super-Multi-Coated 28mm f3.5 lenses.
