Hello, I'm quite a newbie with photography.

I use a Pentax K100d and I've inherited a Pentax 67 75mm f4.5 SMC Shift.

I'd like yo know if I need a specific adaptor to use with my K100d and if there are disadvantages in using this lens.

Pentax made an adapter for using 6x7 lenses on a K-mount. It might be hard to find the adapter. Here is a recent thread on using 6x7 lenses:

Lots of adapters on eBay. Search the threads as there have been a few great posts on this.

I currently use 3 of the 67 lenses on my K20 with an adapter I bought here Adapter Fits Pentax 67 lens to PK with tripod mount - eBay (item 310115378652 end time Jan-20-09 02:06:01 PST) If you read through the thread just1moredave posted above you will find images of 67 lenses on the crop sensor. There is a lot of other useful information there too. Best of luck to you!
