I just picked up the DA21 to pair with my DA40.

They already feel lonely without the DA70!! haha

DA40 was my first real lens purchase (after the kit lenses). It's still with me and I could never part with it.

I did pick this lens used because it was cheap. I didn't think much of it but for the price, why not? And I've been pleasantly surprised by this little lens. Great IQ, useful FL, so unobstrusive (great for street). I'll only sell it with my last Pentax body. That said, I now use it much less since I got the DA* 16-50. The conveniance of the zoom do more for me. But when I want to travel very light and do some street or portraits, that's the one.

Well, I agree with everyone else that it is an outstanding picture, and you have a beautiful daughter. My wife and I were "hoping" for a daughter both times she was pregnant, and wouldn't you know it, we had 2 sons. They are now 39 and 34, and I love them to death, but a beautiful daughter would have been nice.

I picked up the lens when it came up for sale here in the Marketplace. I wasn't really looking for one, but the price was good and the rep was good. I still haven't run it through its paces yet but my first impressions are really positive. Its a great, sharp and very natural lens.

Thank you for the kind words. Yep I always wanted a boy, ended up with two beautiful, healthy girls and wouldn't have it any other way.
