No, you are not crazy. Voigtlander manual focus is not really a concern if you are forced to manual focus every day doing street shoot. It is fun exercise. However, Da limited will definitely get you the shots that you would have missed with VL ones.

But it all comes down how you like it on the shooting day

easily, really easily.... the only one I'm using at the moment is Sigma 10-20, why? It's the only (corrected) lens that goes that wide, but my eyes are setting on DA14

Yes, well barely, (I did sell my DA limiteds last summer)

I'm almost old enough where I can soon escape the labels of "nuts" and "compulsive" and just be referred to as "eccentric" An eccentric old-timer can have as many lenses as he wants and no one seems to care.

Am I crazy to want the 15mm, 35mm, and 70mm Limiteds

along with

the Voigtländer 20mm, 40mm, and 58mm SLIIs?

I try to justify the obvious overlap in that one's a MF only set and the other would be pretty much limited (heh, no pun intended) to AF convenience. That, and I want to get a used MX, a brick of B&W film, and try my hand at home film development, hence the lust for the VLs.

Oh, and anyone here have any experience using MF for kids and other fast moving objects? Because then maybe I could kick the LBA down a little and just go for the VLs.

Edit: the VLs are a touch faster too, so that's another plus. One final consideration to get the Limiteds as well as the VLs is that MF using the K200D is a little iffy...
I'm gonna go for 15 and 70 lmt. as well. (The 35 is also appealing off cause, as so many show great shots from it, seems like an extraordinary lens).
Else the 43 lmt. handles the middle for me, and has some speed.

The Voigtländer 20mm is a must for me too. Would go great on film cameras, and the other Voigtländers have impressed.

I hope one day Zeiss reissues the 15/3.5.

I don't think it is nuts to have a set-up as you suggests. I came across one, who had two full series of FA limiteds; one in silver, one in black.
