Who makes Promaster Spectrum7 28mm 1:2.8?

Can you please tell me who makes the Promaster lens? Is it Tamron?

It is much larger and heavier than the Pentax-M 28mm.

Thanks.

It sure looks like a Sigma Mini Wide II, except the rubber focus grip.

Definitely looks like a Sigma, and I recall that many of the 'Promaster' lenses were Sigma. Maybe all of them? But I can't recall, might not be remembering that correctly.

Thanks, Just1MoreDave and F16, it does look like a Sigma Mini Wide II.

I found a photo of the Sigma from a listing on FleaBay. The only difference is that the Promaster does not have the "macro" scale (1:9, ..., 1:4.5)
