Sigma 24mm Super-Wide II f/2.8 Macro - Samples

Well, the Sun did come out. Went out and 'tested' the new 24mm and I got my first real hike in as well. Not keepers by any means, just getting use to the lens. It's very easy to focus. I threw on a spare B+W UV filter as well.

1/350s f/9.5 - Infinity focus

1/500s f/9.5 - Infinity focus

1/1600s f/5.0 - 15 foot focus

1/800s f/2.8 - 5 foot focus and bokeh example

1/250s f/2.8 - 6-7 inch Macro and bokeh example

looks good to me. i've always thought this would be an excellent lens to use on digital and the close focusing is definitely an asset.

It really is a wonderful lens--the close focusing makes it really unique!

So far I'm pleased, the DA21 was my original goal then I saw this lens. 32 vs 36, AF vs MF, IQ vs IQ I'm beginning to wonder if I need the DA21 as it's 8x the cost. Maybe in the future but, its not as pressing now.
