Post your DA 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AL shots!

I thought it would be neat if members could post photos taken with certain lenses in threads, especially for self pimping and helping others decide which lenses to buy. So let's start out with the kit lens, which seemed appropriate for this thread!

Hey, why not? I like the kit lens and I have no plans to replace it. I shot this yesterday afternoon walking around and enjoying the almost spring weather. Kayak season is almost here.

There's some great threads about the kit lens:

He uses several Pentax lenses on the K-m and K100D. There's a collection on his main flickr page of various Pentax outings.

edit: here are the ones with the DA L 18-55mm

Most of my gallery is done with th kit lens - I have compared my printed results with past pics taken with Nikon, Minolta & Zeiss primes up to 10x8 and am more than happy with the results.

Personally having seen the results from Canon & Nikon "kit" lenses - the Pentax trounces them.

A really good bargain

Dear planedriver ,
The overexposed area on the Orange is somehow overt....But it's really really nice.
