Best Ultra Wide Lens ?

I am interested in trying some wide angle shots but I don't know which lens is the 'one'.

Any suggestions?

The 10-17 if you like fisheye, 12-24 if you don't. Or both.

I have the DA 12-24mm and I am happy with it.

I too would say that the DA12-24 is a good buy. May be a bit too expensive for only trying a few shots ...

I think it is good to see what 12 mm really are, because I first had problems with this wide angle.

for the money you simply can't beat Sigma 10-20.
Don't get me wrong, DA12-24 is great lens, but being more then £100 more expensive it's simply out of budget...

My favorite and most used ultra wide is the Pentax 12-24 lens.
